• SE1.1 Determine the purpose of and audience for the text they are planning to create.
• SE1.2 Use a variety of pre-writing strategies independently and in groups to generate and develop ideas and to select an appropriate topic or form for their writing.
• SE2.1 Write poems, including rhyming poems:
  • using elements of the form such as a rhyming scheme or metre.
• SE2.3 Write an expository paragraph:
  • with a topic sentence that introduces the main idea;
  • with developing sentences that add facts, details, and examples in a logical order;
  • with a concluding sentence that summarizes the main idea.
• SE2.6 Produce short, persuasive media texts in various forms, using literary/stylistic devices and technological resources to enhance the persuasiveness of the text.
• SE3.2 Edit and proofread their written work, using reference material and guidelines and applying the language conventions.
• SE4.1 Produce a clean and legible final draft, using a variety of techniques and resources to format and enhance the presentation, with a focus on the following:
  • using headings and subheadings appropriately to help organize the text;
  • using underlining, colour, and/or a different style of lettering (e.g., printing, cursive writing, a different font) to emphasize certain elements of the text (e.g., use underlining or a bold font for titles and headings);
  • integrating clip art, photos, and/or diagrams to supplement and help clarify information and messages;
  • labelling diagrams accurately.

Que connais-tu au sujet de la Journée de la Terre? Selon le site JOUR DE LA TERRE.ORG, le Jour de la Terre fut célébré pour la première fois le 22 avril 1970. Aujourd’hui, plus d’un milliard de personnes dans 193 pays passent à l’action chaque année dans le cadre du Jour de la Terre. Au fil des ans, le Jour de la Terre est devenu le mouvement participatif en environnement le plus important de la planète. Tu peux également visiter ce site en anglais afin d’approfondir tes connaissances sur l’environnement.

Étapes à suivre :

1. Rends-toi au lien suivant sur le site Teachers Pay Teachers afin de télécharger gratuitement les documents nécessaires.
2. Assure-toi de lire toutes les cartes avant de débuter.
3. Choisis au moins 2 cartes que tu réaliseras.
4. N’oublie pas de suivre les étapes du processus d’écriture.
5. Fais une recherche au besoin et demande de l’aide des gens de ton entourage.
6. Publie tes créations et amuse-toi!
